Today, Metropolitan Car-O-Liner, Inc. serves New Jersey, Eastern New York, Connecticut and Eastern Pennsylvania and has expanded its product line to include innovative ProSpot resistance welders and Kaeser compressor products. Our mission has always been to provide high-quality, innovative equipment with complete customer service including on-site training and support. Our industry-experienced staff includes former body and frame technicians, estimators, as well as shop managers and owners.

Dave Demarest, Sr. Owner and founder of Metropolitan Car-O-Liner and Welding Solutions, Inc. Dave grew up as a body repair technician in New Jersey and later co-owned a shop that grew to over 10,000 square feet. As a shop owner looking for innovative, quality repair equipment, Dave discovered and began selling a line of frame machines from the body shop. With the shop's involvement with Volvo, Dave was asked to evaluate a new frame repair bench from Sweden - Car-O-Liner. From that day, Dave began to market the Car-O-Liner frame repair system and its unique and precise universal measuring system to other shops. To this day, Dave continues to be the largest selling Car-O-Liner distributor in the world.

Dave Demarest, Jr. Vice-President of Administration & Marketing for Metropolitan Car-O-Liner and Welding Solutions, Inc. Since about 11 years old, Dave, Jr. has worked for his dad at both the body shop and equipment distribution business.
After several years distributing body shop software, Dave is now in charge of all administrative, training and marketing functions.
